Patricia Guthrie Memorial Award
The Patricia Guthrie Memorial Award is awarded annually to an outstanding female undergraduate degree student. Applicants are assessed on their excellent academic record and social and community contribution both within and outside RMIT.
Molly Coulter
The Landscape Architecture discipline is excited to announce that this year’s Patricia Guthrie Memorial Award has been given to Molly Coulter. Molly completed her Bachelor of Landscape Architectural Design in 2019 and is currently working at Oculus.
The Prize, provided through the generosity of the Guthrie family, is awarded in commemoration of Mrs Patricia Guthrie who was RMIT’s first female Head of the TAFE School of Communication and Social Science and a valued and much respected member of staff of RMIT.
Molly’s nomination was supported by Jock Gilbert and highlighted that Molly has continually and constructively engaged with projects far beyond the scope of her studies and that these leadership roles have facilitated change within the discipline at RMIT, in practice, and in community organisations.
Molly’s award follows Louella Exton receiving the same award last year.
