RMIT Higher Education Award

The RMIT Higher Education Award is presented annually to one higher education graduate and one vocational education graduate from across RMIT. The prize recognises both excellence in academic record and in leadership potential.

Albert Rex

Albert’s leadership was recognised across a variety of contributions that spanned his participation in various courses an extracurricular activities; most notably his role in SLAB. Writing in support of Albert’s application, Jock Gilbert noted that “Albert’s leadership contributions continue to be both reflective and inclusive whilst often provocative in the most generative sense”.

Albert completed his Bachelor of Landscape Architectural Design in 2019 and is currently a student in our Master of Landscape Architecture program.
