The exhibition, presented at Melbourne design week in the City Library Gallery in 2019 and 2020 explored future scenarios for North-West Melbourne through a network of multi-scalar propositions combining landscape, architecture and urban design into new urban ecologies. Interventions connect existing fragmented green spaces aiming to contribute to an improved urban climate while a network of cooling devices facilitate continuous and protected pedestrian circulation through the public realm. The exhibition demonstrated to the local community how architecture and landscape approaches can reconnect ecologies, water and human systems while enhancing accessibility, open space, water and air quality, health and well-being.
