Cardwell Cellars + Mayfield Gallery
Victoria Street, Abbotsford
Hosted at Mayfield Gallery, this exhibition brings together a community of academics/design practitioners who use projection-based drawing, mapping and diagram processes to guide and enact their analysis and ideation of spatial relations.
These works range from analogue constructions on paper to digital and multimedia projections and will focus on the intersection of landscape and interiors. The exhibition and associated floor talk seek to advance the engagement between conditions of INTERIOR and LANDSCAPE in material, operative and philosophical terms.
This event is part of Melbourne Design Week 2023, an initiative of the Victorian Government in collaboration with the NGV. The event will take place in the Mayfield Gallery above the Cardwell Cellars, a unique wine dealer mapping the world with wine bottles since 2022.
