‘CEL’ explores settlement patterns as a living system that adapts to the environment it colonises. It develops a set of environmentally responsive guides that aids in the regeneration of the landscape through constant mobility. By exploring the act of environmental stewardship and examining the relationship between people, place and ecology, the formation of settlement patterns and producing concepts contributes to the contemporary discourse of the landscape and its cities.
